Overview
We are looking for an adept Senior Backend Developer to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will involve spearheading the development and maintenance of cutting-edge software applications. You will work with modern backend technologies and frameworks to build scalable, high-performance systems.
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will also lead and collaborate with a team of developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend services and software applications.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented team environment.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to interpret requirements and transform them into technical solutions.
- Contribute to architectural discussions, offering insights on technical feasibility and implementing best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, maintain code quality, and enforce coding standards and practices.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience as a Backend Developer (5+ years).
- Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as C#, Java, Node.js, Python, or similar.
- Experience with modern backend frameworks (e.g., .NET Core, Spring Boot, Express/NestJS, Django, etc.).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, system design, and scalable architectures.
- Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and ORM tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with design patterns and software architecture principles.
